1. Preisträger des Joseph Joachim Violinwettbewerbs 2018 Timothy Chooi beim Finalkonzert an der Seite der NDR Radiophilharmonie unter der Leltung von Andrew Manze

Laureates 1991-2021

The Joseph Joachim Violin Competition is one of the most prestigious music competitions in the world. The young prizewinners are given the opportunity to pursue a career as a soloist on the international concert stage.
The prizes have been repeatedly adapted, changed and added to since 1991. In addition to highly endowed cash prizes, valuable non-cash prizes are also awarded. In 2021, the prize structure changed significantly under the new Artistic Director.
