As announced earlier this year, violinists Antje Weithaas and Oliver Wille will jointly be taking over responsibility for the Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition Hannover, succeeding Krzysztof Wegrzyn. The competition’s new artistic directors will ensure that Stiftung Niedersachsen’s largest music advancement program will be developed further and taken into the future.
On Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 6 pm, Mrs. Weithaas and Mr. Wille will be revealing their main aims and some changes they have planned for the competition. I would like to cordially invite you to this public evening event, which will be held at Stiftung Niedersachsen’s Joseph Joachim Hall. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and voice suggestions regarding the complimentary program. Afterwards guests will be welcome to converse directly with Mrs. Weithaas and Mr. Wille.
